Constantan has a high thermoelectric power, low temperature coefficient of electrical resistance and persistence. It is sufficiently resistant against corrosion, heat resistant, has good mechanical properties and good pressure treated. Constantan used in the manufacture of resistors, thermocouples, heating appliances with an operating temperature up to 500 ˚ C.
